TINY TOONES ON TOUR IN THE USA
The performances, taking place in Madison, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle and Los Angeles, will see the Tiny Toones troupe competing in both Crew and His/Hers 2-on-2 battles against teams as far-reaching as China and Bulgaria. For the TT peer mentors, all former street kids from Phnom Penh aged between 16 and 23, this trip will provide priceless cross-cultural interaction and a glimpse into the birthplace of the breakdancing phenomenon they are now so passionate about.

Under a Cooperation Agreement between BABSEA and Tiny Toones signed in April 2007, BABSEA provides financial management services for Tiny Toones, as well as funding, technical support and capacity-building for their expanding programs.

After much anticipation and excitement, Tiny Toones have made their way to the USA – bringing their own unique Khmer hip-hop style to the underground world of breakdancing. Seven of the top Tiny Toones' peer mentors – Homie, T-Boy, Diamond, Fresh, Suicide, Khay and DJ K’’Dep – along with Administrative Director Lisa Ho, have made Tiny Toones’ first official trip out of Cambodia to perform live at a competition and a series of fundraising events. 
Some of the events will also feature a photo gallery by award-winning photographer Stuart Isett, which follows the vibrant story of the life of Tuy Sobil, a.k.a. ‘KK”, the founder of Tiny Toones. As KK was prevented from returning to the USA due to his deportee status, a live video stream via Skype will be available for the audience to ask questions.
