Group Volunteers – Cambodia

BABC has well-developed partnerships with several overseas non-profit organizations and individuals who organize their own volunteer trips where BABC is the host organization in-country.  Catering to students, professionals, and retired persons, the Group Volunteer program provides an opportunity for participants to gain an insight into economically under-developed or developing countries, interact with local communities and learn about sustainable community development.

  >> Placement: Working with BABC staff to build family dream houses, rice harvesting (in season), interaction with local communities and children, structural renovations, scraping and painting, etc.

  >> Role: Assist BABC and the local communities in the facilitation of sustainable rural and urban community development initiatives.

  >> Benefit:

A)  Volunteer: Participants benefit from gaining a rich insight into local culture and learn about sustainable rural development activities and projects.

B)  Local Community: Local communities benefit from interaction with the volunteers and the improvement to their local conditions.

  >> Program Fees: Program fees for Group Tours are determined by our partners and agreed by BABC to maximize the financial contributions to our programs.  Please see the list of current partners for details on volunteering with a group.
